On the way back from Nicki and Chris' wedding in Minnesota, I lucked out - I got a window seat on the Mount Hood side of the cabin and I managed to get my camera ready in time to snap the best photo I've ever taken from inside an airplane.
Mount Hood is a potentially active volcano and could erupt at any time, though it's unlikely that its eruptions will be as spectacular or destructive as Mount St. Helens'.
