Stanley Park is so enormous that it contains a decent-sized aquarium on its grounds. I generally love aquariums because they contain all sorts of fascinating creatures that I'll probably never be able to see in real life:
And given my shark phobia, an aquarium is the only way that I'll even get close to a live one. However, I wish that aquariums didn't house cetaceans because their range in their natural habitat is about a billion times larger than in captivity. This beluga whale (which was really lumpy looking - perhaps it had tumors?) just kept swimming around in a loop, which took him all of ten minutes and was very depressing to watch.
