Southgate is located on the Yarra River and is the site of several upscale restaurants and shops. When I was in Melbourne, the management had just banned photography to prevent terrorists from targeting Southgate. Sadly, this stupid practice of regarding photographers and videographers with unwarranted suspicion has spread to London, Washington, D.C. and San Francisco.
